Celebrating Book Week

Last week was an exciting one with Book Week festivities happening each day!

Most of the children were eager to share their poems with the class. Here are William and Caroline reciting theirs:

Sarah Mounsey is the author of two books in the Purple Paw Prints series. She had a great session with our class sharing her latest book and discussing the process she uses to write books. It was great to hear that she uses the same writing process that we do!

We had middle school buddies come to read with us one morning. It was lovely to see the pairings of the older children with the younger ones. Arjun and his sister were partners!

Finally, probably the most looked forward to event...Character Dress Up Day!
